I retired early but could not just stop working, after being self employed for most of my working life, the drive to keep going to find my next project was there, but I had no next project to pursue.

After going for a Sunday afternoon bicycle ride I was forced to adjust the derailleur mechanism so as to change gears smoothly. I asked myself is there a better way. This simple question led me down a rabbit hole that became an obsession. The results of this obsession is a new mechanical movement by what I call a bicycle chain bearing.

The bicycle rider now has a chain driven infinitely variable transmission that has no lateral movement.This can be considered the holy grail of mechanical engineering to solve.

This is a new/man machine interface as expressed in the most beautiful machine ever made, the bicycle. A new bicycle tranmissioin design that will make every bicycle ever made obsolete and will disrupt and dominate the global bicycle industry.
